BENTLEY Flying Spur 2014 - 2019

Generation Information

Body style: None

Segment: None

The 2014 Bentley Flying Spur was the so-called entry-level for the Bentley 4-door saloons.
It was not as big or luxurious as the flagship Mulsanne, but it still had some features that could place it in the high-end products. It was offered with two engine choices: a 4.0-liter V8 or a 6.0-liter W12. Both versions were twin-turbo.

On the outside, there are little clues to differentiate one engine from the other. Only a little red dot center of the badge will tell to a trained eye that that is a V8 version. If it doesn’t have the on it, it’s the W12. And despite its big size and a half-ton pickup weight, it could move very fast. The 19” light-alloy wheels were standard for the V8.

The interior is handcrafted. All the stitches, bits and pieces were assembled together by hand. The diamond-pattern doors and seat leather are made by hand. The drilled aluminum pedals are also the craft of a master. On the center console, there was an infotainment system that didn’t match the beauty of the interior, but at least it was there to help.

For the rear passengers, there is plenty of room for two. The diagonally opposed to the driver passenger could even move the seat in front of him to get more leg-room. It also had a smart touch-screen remote to control various features of the car such as the infotainment unit or the climate control system.
