Hyundai is using the La Auto Show to offer us the 2012 Azera, with the vehicle, which used Hyundai’s new Fluidic Sculpturedesign language, being slotted between the Sonata and the Genesis.
We’ll start the presentation under the hood, where we have a direct-injected 3.3-liter V6 unit that delivers 297 hp and a peak torque of 255 lb-ft (345 Nm) and is mated t a six-speed automatic gearbox. The vehicle comes with an estimated efficiency of 20 mpg city and 29 mpg highway.

The interior treats us with standard heated leather seats, GPS navigation and a long list of other goodies, while the optional extras include a 12-speaker Infinity audio system, ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof.

Customers can choose to have the car dressed in one of the following colors: Black Onyx Pearl, Porcelain White Pearl, Silver Frost Metallic, Smoke Gray Metallic, Hyper Silver Metallic, Venetian Red Pearl, Bronze Mist Metallic and Midnight Blue Pearl. AS for the cabin, this can be finished in Camel, Graphite Black or Chestnut Brown.
