PORSCHE Macan S 95B 2018 - 2021

Generation Information

Body style: None

Segment: None

The smaller sportier SUV from Porsche wants to keep its crown as the sportiest vehicle in the segment.
The Macan has important upgrades for the 2020 model, featuring new and improved front lights with LED headlights as standard and three-dimensional LED lights in the rear.

Right from the start, the refreshed Macan has been offered with two engines: a 2.0 turbocharged four cylinder and a new 3.0 V6 unit. Both powerplants are mated to a 7 speed dual-clutch transmission called PDK. The all-wheel-drive system is controlled by a system called PTM. In order to meet the harshest emission levels in Europe, Euro 6d, both engines are equipped with a gasoline particulate filter.

The main characteristic of the Macan has to be the driving dynamics and that promise is covered. The sprint from 0 to 60 MPH is covered in under 6.5 seconds for the 2.0 turbocharged unit and 5 seconds flat for the big V6 brother. For brakes, the revamped Macan can be ordered with PCCB – ceramic braking system.

On the cockpit, the driver has a big 10.9 inch display, compared to the 7.2” from the pre-facelift version. The Macan has, like the latest Panamera and Cayenne, a user interface which can be adapted to the driver’s profile to meet his personal needs and requests. The new Macan offers a good package for interconnectivity, and the owner also has the possibility to use a dedicated app to connect with the car.
