A new Audi R8 Spyder came 6 years after the previous model had been released, bringing the same thrills as the standard coupe model but with the extra wind in your hair.
Design wise, it’s the same as the 2016 R8 V10, wearing the same angular look from bumper to bumper. The only difference is found waistline up, where a new electrically-operated cloth top can be found. Extensive use of lightweight materials give the R8 Spyder a dry weight of 1,612 kg (3,554 lb), which means that 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) is done in only 3.6 seconds, very close to the 3.5 s the standard coupe can do.
