Bentley introduce the first generation Brooklands in 1992, aiming to replace the discontinued Mulsanne and Eight models on the full-size luxury car segment.
Exterior design featured the same Bentley-styled front grille and headlights, bootlid and chrome B-pillars. It was fitted with a 6.75L V8 engine delivering 224 hp and a 4-speed automatic transmission. It was available with a rear-wheel-drive axle configuration and came with two wheelbase options: SWB (3061mm) and LWB (3162mm). The Bentley Brooklands was discontinued in 1997 and redeveloped a decade later in both two-door and four-seat coupe variants.
