To keep prices down, the Chevrolet Trax will be offered with front-wheel drive, but you can also fit the car with on-demand AWD

Engine choices will include a 1.6-liter base gasoline engine only available in FWD, followed by a 1.4 turbo rated at 140 hp (103 kW) and produces a maximum torque of 200 Nm. The diesel option will come in the form of a 1.7-liter unit with 130 hp (96 kW) and a maximum torque of 300 Nm.
