With the coupe version of the Chrysler Sebring being discontinued at the end of 2006, the new generation model was only available with sedan and convertible bodies.
The 2006 Sebring Sedan - marketed in the US as a 2007-year model - was based on an entirely new JS platform and shared several styling cues with the 2003 Chrysler Airflite concept car and the Crossfire model. It also came with several trim level: base, touring, limited, LX and limited 2WD. The Sebring is also due to be assembled in Russia - under GAZ license - and China - produced at the Beijing-Benz DaimlerChrysler Automotive Co.
