In the same series with the Fiat Bravo, the Fiat Brava was introduced to replace the Fiat Tipo.
Whereas the Bravo was a 3-door, the Brava completed the range as a 5-door hatchback. Styling wise, the two cars were pretty much the same, with the Brava differentiating itself through a slightly modified bumper, the two extra doors, C-pillar and some interesting-looking three-piece stoplights. The engine line-up was made up of all-new units, which also included a turbodiesel. In 1996 a saloon and an estate were added to the line-up. The model was discontinued in 2001.
