What we’re saying is that if you’re looking for a compact family car, the 2012 Ford B-Max could fit you perfectly. It’s slightly bigger than a Fiesta and one of it’s biggest pluses is the lack of the B-pillars. Nope, all the structural resistance needed has been integrated into the doors, which also allow a very easy access to the interior. The rear doors slide on a rail while the front ones open the classic way.

Once inside, you’ll be welcomed by a kinetic design approach, with bold graphics and sculpted surfaces that define all Ford’s small and medium cars in the respective lineup. There’s a slim wing-like upper instrument panel section which extends out to the door panels, a prominent center console, quality materials and tiny gaps in between the trim panels.

Power is assured by a range of both gasoline and diesel units that offer between 75 and 120 HP.
