Ford presented the new sixth generation Taurus at the Detroit International Auto Show in 2009.
This new full-size sedan is Ford’s response to a rather dull previous model. The 2010 model year Taurus features a new and bold design with an aggressive exterior.. well mostly the front half of the vehicle and a completely redesigned interior front panel. Ford’s strong marketing points are claimed to be the car’s new premium feel, the new EcoBoost 3.5L V6 engine, improved car dynamics and broader in-car entertainment and safety options. With this occasion, Ford also prepared the fourth generation of the sporty version dubbed SHO.
