Introduced back in 2009, the second-generation Hyundai Tucson received its first facelift for the 2014 model year.
Exterior upgrades included projector headlamps, LED taillights, roof side rails with panoramic sunroof and new 17-inch and 18-inch alloy wheels, while interior enhancements meant standard tilt and telescopic steering wheel, new interior colors (beige, brown), cupholder illumination and standard steering wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls. More importantly, Hyundai came up with a new engine lineup as well, which meant a “Nu” 2.0-liter rated at 164 HP and 151 lb-ft of torque and a “Theta II” 2.4-liter good for 182 HP and 177 lb-ft of torque.
