The replacement for the G-series sedan has been officially detailed by the Infiniti brand ahead of its debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
The design is a sculpted new model that will faces stiff competition from its main rivals, the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes C-Class and also the new Lexus IS. Compared to the latter Japanese luxury car in particular, it looks a bit boring, despite being all-new. The powertrain lineup announced for the US market includes a 3.7-liter V6 with 328 horsepower and a hybrid system combining a 296 hp 3.5-liter V6 and an electric motor, producing 354 horsepower in total.
