The Delta is Lancia’s take on the small family car.
Apparently, they must have done something right, because the first generation of this model lasted well into the 90s, which is pretty cool for a car built way back in the 70s. The original model was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and it was developed in partnership with Saab. This is why this model was better suited to colder climates and less rust-prone than other Lancias. Its performances were not only tested by regular drivers but also by racers, who took the Delta to rallies all over the world. The car showed its mettle and dominated rally events during the late 1980 and early 90s.
