MERCEDES BENZ Typ Mannheim Sedan W10 1929 - 1934

Generation Information

Body style: None

Segment: None

Having just superseded previous generation models, the new Mannheim was very similarly looking wit the only notable difference having been the new wheelbase shortened by 230 mm.
In this respect, the vehicle became slightly lighter which led to better handling and performance. Internally, the car was hardly modified, having been powered by the old in-line 6-cylinder 3.4 L petrol unit which was upgraded with the introduction of later models. Built with various body types, the car was equipped with a sturdy suspension comprising front and rear axles mated to semi-elliptic leaf springs while wheels were linked to a wire-pull braking system.
