Baptized as the next generation Vectra, the Caravan came shortly after the 2002 sedan launch.
Sharing the same style elements and improved suspension/direction as well as an overall equipment level raise, the Caravan confidently took on target consumers. Power output has been significantly increased with the introduction of the 1.9 common rail turbo Diesel with its 120 and 150 hp versions and the 3.0 l V6 CDTi that developed close to 180 hp in Sport trim. The newly attained maximum speed limits were now reached through the introduction of an extra gear on both transmissions.
