Successor of Pontiac Grand Prix, Pontiac Bonneville and Pontiac GTO on certain markets, the Pontiac G8 is a mid-size car unveiled in 2007 and still in production this year.
The G8 is based on the General Motors Zeta platform, along with the 2007 Chevrolet Lumina, the 2007 Vauxhall VXR8 and the upcoming Chevrolet Camaro.The G8 had a choice of two engines, a 3.6 V6 and a 6.0 V8, which could produce a maximum power of 261 and 370 hp respectively. In addition, the G8 is equipped with a rear-wheel drive system, a 6-speed automatic transmission and ventilated discs on both the front and the rear.
