SKODA Fabia RS
Generations Timeline, Specs and Pictures

Skoda Fabia RS is the Czech manufacturer’s response to the Volkswagen Polo GTI and was first presented to the overall public at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
While not as sporty and quick as its siblings Polo GTI and Seat Ibiza Cupra, the Fabia RS is clearly Volkwagen AG’s cheaper option on this segment, while also coming with improved fuel consumption figures as compared to those two. Exterior-wise, the Fabia RS comes with a wide front bumper, tinted windows, specially designed alloy wheels, revised exhaust and a rear spoiler. Interior-wise, RS logos are present everywhere (steering wheel, seats), along with sporty seats.

Skoda Fabia RS is a special version of Fabia which was equipped with multiple high-end features that provided more power than all the other editions of the car.
Only available as a diesel, the Fabia RS was powered by a Volkswagen 1.9-liter engine which produced 130 horsepower. Official figures revealed that Fabia RS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h although some tests showed that the time could be reduced to 7 seconds. Even if it was powered by a diesel engine and was considered less powerful that the majority of its competitors, Skoda Fabia RS could be described as rival for Ford Fiesta ST and Volkswagen Polo GTI.
