Suzuki Grand Vitara XL-7 is a SUV manufactured by Suzuki since 2001, being especially addressed to the North American market.
Powered by the company’s 2.7 liter V6 engine, the XL-7 had a rear wheel drive which could be replaced with an all-wheel drive system available as an option. Even if the first years of availability represented a major success for the Japanese manufacturer, XL-7’s popularity began decreasing in 2004, especially due to more powerful competition. The mid-size SUV had multiple rivals, including Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot and Honda CR-V.
