Officially launched by Vauxhall in 2005, the Monaro VXR is a special version of the Holden Monaro which was adopted by the British company in 2001.
This new series of the Monaro is a more powerful car equipped with a 6 liter V8 engine which could produce 400 horsepower at 6000 rpm. The vehicle is able to reach a maximum speed of 270 km/h with a 0-100 km/h acceleration made in 5.2 seconds. In order to offer the car a sportier look, Vauxhall installed a sports grille and side sills, 19 inch alloy wheels and air scoops. Moreover, the car received an improved sport suspension system as well as ventilated brake discs on all wheels.
