VOLVO V40 2012 - 2016

Generation Information

Body style: None

Segment: None

The V40 was released in 2012 and was a great alternative to the VW Golf and the A3 Sportback.
With the Swedish brand well known for the safe cars they produce, the V40 also came with a cutting-edge design. The V40 was one of the best looking cars in its segment at the time.

The coupe design was eye-catching and most of the styling cues were borrowed from the C30 coupe, giving it a rather sporty and sleek look.

Inside, the V40 was as pleasing as it was on the outside. The dashboard was of a minimalist design and practicality wasn’t left aside. The cabin was equipped with lots of storage places to increase comfort.

The V40 was equipped with the Volvo’s City Safe system. Hitting a pedestrian would be rather hard in a V40 with the car braking by itself.

Great design, great safety features, but that was not all.

The comfort the V40 offered was among the best. The seats were designed for the users to enjoy lots of kilometers on the motorway without feeling tired.

The handling was good, as well as the precise steering made the V40 a fun car on twisty roads.

The cabin was quiet overall and a bit of a tire roll could be heard at higher speeds.
