The third generation of V70 was unveiled by Volvo on February 2, 2007 and came with a series of new elements which made the 5-door estate more advanced than the previous models.
For example, the interior of this new model was considered to be one of the most luxurious in the executive car class. Speaking about the engines, the new Volvo had a 3.2 litre engine and two 2.4 litre diesel engines equipped with manual transmission. In fact, all the European models of Volvo V70 are only available with manual transmission, the automatic model being offered in other markets.
