Although its based on the same architecture as its more performance-orientated brethren from the Volkswagen Group, such as the Porsche Cayenne and the Lamborghini Urus, Bentley has decided to reward the Bentayga Speed with the highest top speed in the family.
Rounding it up in mph, it’s actually identical to that of the Lamborghini Urus, but it’s in kilometers per hour where the Bentley Bentayga Speed gets slightly ahead, by 1kph (305 kph versus 306 kph).

Coincidentally, the 306 kph (190 mph) top speed also makes it the fastest production SUV on the planet. The main force behind this outstanding performance is the 6.0-liter, twin-turbocharged W12 found in other modern Bentleys, with its power output increased to 635 hp (626 bhp) and 900 (664 lb-ft) of torque. Compared to the regular Bentayga W12, the 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) acceleration time has been reduced from 4.1 seconds to 3.9 seconds. The gargantuan engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF and all-wheel-drive, like every other Bentayga version.
