Body style: None

Segment: None

BMW introduced the brand new M 635 CSI model on the European market in 1984.
Based on the E24 platform, the new model benefited from BMW M1’s 3.5L 6-cylinder inline engine with an improved output rating of 282 hp. As compared to its initial ‘brothers’ in the E24 Series - the 630CS and 633CSi - this version was equipped with a new set of wheels and a redesigned bumper. This model underwent some styling changes in 1988, when BMW revised model’s headlamps and fitted the M 635CSI with a unique front bumper (for both European and North American market). This model was discontinued a year later, setting the mood for the all-new BMW 8 Series.
