ALFA ROMEO Arna 1983 - 1987

Generation Information

Body style: None

Segment: None

Alfa Romeo introduced the all-new Arna model at the 1983 Frankfurt Motor Show.
This model, designed as a subcompact automobile, was developed in joint venture with Japanese manufacturer Nissan and was based on the Nissan Pulsar (Cherry for the European market). Nevertheless, the car was fitted with Alfa suspension, transmission and engines that were assembled at the Naples plant in Italy. The production of the Alfa Romeo Arna was discontinued only 4 years later due to car’s reliability problems (both electrical and mechanical) and its plain exterior looks. It was rated as one of the poorest models ever made by Alfa Romeo.
