PEUGEOT 104 1972 - 1988

Generation Information

Body style: None

Segment: None

This successful Peugeot 104 supermini was produced in various forms throughout its life span, ranging from a 2 or 4 door sedan to a 3 or 5 door hatchback.
The car’s modern styling allowed for easy trimming, the hatchback having looked very similar to the sedan. Powered by a Douvrin engine (size range from 1 to 1.4 L) developed in collaboration with Renault, the car was a good choice, especially for the fuel-economy concerned drivers. The 104 platform was later shared with models like the Citroen LN, Citroen Vista and the Talbot Samba, following Peugeout’s purchase of Citroen and Simca in the mid 70’s.
